Introduction to Adobe After Effects
We learn about Adobe After Effects this week. After Effects is an
animation software used to create animation, visual effects, motion
graphics, etc. It is widely used in film, TV and web creation.

After Effects Animation Exercise
We will use the composition provided to complete an animation exercise
using Adobe After Effects. Mr Fauzi demonstrated creating animation in
Adobe After Effects in class and recorded it as a tutorial video for
us to refer back to:

To complete:
1. Import the composition PSD file (W10_ANIMATE.psd) into Adobe After
Effects.
2. Create a composition setting 1080 px (Width) x 1920 px (Height),
Duration 15 second
3. Create a keyframe animation to the layers using Position (P), Scale
(S) & Masking path.
4. Render output: Quicktime.MOV or .MP4
5. Upload your exercise to your Youtube Channel.
Final Project: Self-Tilted
Self-titled is an exploration project for the students to express
their own individuality and reflect their personality in digital art
self-expression. We are to create a composition to express ourselves
(must include our own photo) and animate some elements in the
composition, and finally render out into a video.
