Final Project: Self-Tilted
3. ANIMATION AND FINISHING
This is a collage animation video reference I found on YouTube.
Video 1:
collage animation project
by Erin Devine
First, I created a new composition of 1080 px (W) x1920 px (H) size with a
duration of 15s and insert the .PSD file of my digital poster.

I insert the audio I want to use in the composition. The music I used is
"Mind Games", a piece of instrumental music that I think fits with my
digital poster. At 0;00;12;09, I change the background to a dark colour.

Then, I used the Puppet Tool to animate a swinging effect on my leg and
make the effect loop till the end of the video. For the animation on the big cloud, I make it move form left to right
with a dimming effect by adjusting its opacity.

Next, I animate the small cloud on top by moving in some different positions but still remaining in the same place. While for the messy line on my head I just create some dimming effects on it by adjusting its opacity as well.

I put quite a lot of effect into animating the distorted frame at the
bottom. I make masks on the distorted frame part by part to let it appear
according to its path. I use the Puppet Tool to animate the distorted part
of the frame with wavy effects. I repeated the wavy effects at the end of
the video to match the rhythm of the music.

Finally, I animate the word "be bold." with wavy effects as well. I keep
the animation loop till the end. However, at that point (0;00;12;09) I
changed to the dark version of my digital poster, I enlarged the word "be
bold." and add scatters and grain effects to it. All the animations are
done.

4. SUBMISSION
I was a bit upset as I could not animate the legs separately as Mr Fauzi suggested because the legs are too close together and the music I used in my video is a piece of instrumental music so the lyrics are not available. In short, I use the first version video as the final submission of my Self-Tilted project.

FEEDBACK
WEEK 14
Mr Fauzi suggested animating the legs separately so it will look
more natural instead of both feet swinging in the same direction.
I may also replace the text "Bold" with the lyrics of the song.
